About the Course

  • Coding (or computer programming) is a new type of literacy. ScratchJr is an introductory graphical programming language that enables young children (ages 5-7) to create their own interactive stories, animation, music and games. Children snap together blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, and sing.                                                      

  • Children can modify characters, add their own voices and sounds, even insert photos of themselves and then use the programming blocks to make their characters come to life.                                                                                                                                                                                   

  • In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. As it appears so colorful and a friendly platform for the kids to bring their imaginations into real projects.
